About the Author
SpellingRules.com was founded by Linguist Camilia Sadik as a Breakthrough Spelling Solution in 1997 to provide a one-stop source for spelling words, reading phonics, and / or dyslexia solutions. Professor Camilia Sadik, a Linguist who previously could not spell, developed a program out of need. No program, book, or teacher could help her remember the spelling of the words she read. As a result, Sadik spent over 15 years intensely dissecting English, discovering more than 100 spelling rules, various vowels rules and phonics rules, applying the rules in phonics-based spelling lessons, class testing her discoveries, and preparing breakthrough phonics-based spelling books for children and adults to learn the spelling of 25,000 words within weeks or months. Sadik insists that no one else should have to spend 15 years intensely dissecting English, simply to learn to spell. Professor Sadik is an expert in helping those who everyone else has given up on them. Her specialty is in ending dyslexia in spelling and dyslexia in writing letters in reverse. Dissecting English, teaching and consulting in public schools and community colleges, and having published 10 books, Sadik has a broad knowledge in teaching literacy and ESL. Academically, Sadik earned a BA in Philosophy from Wayne State University and a Masters Certificate in Applied Linguistics from San Diego State University. In addition, she earned California Teaching Credentials and is certified in teaching the Essential Elements of Adult Basic Education.
