Synopsis

Abigail Cookson, whose mother disappeared when she was a small child and whose father is the town drunk, thinks her life can only get better when she meets and falls in love with handsome sailor Joe. About the Author:

Roberta Grieve had her first story published in 1998 and since then has had many stories and articles published, as well as four historical novellas in the My Weekly collection. She is secretary of the Chichester Writers' Circle and editor of the Chichester Literary Societies quarterly newsletter. She enjoys painting and walking. Roberta lives in Chichester, which is the setting for Abigail's Secret.
