About the Author
Freya Blackwood is an award-winning illustrator known for her exquisite picture books among which include Amy and Louis, No Room for a Mouse and most recently with Roddy Doyle, Her Mother's Face. Ivy Loves to Give is the first book that Freya has both written and illustrated. Her second book with Libby Gleeson, Clancy and Millie and the Very Fine House will be released in Australia by Little Hare Books in October 2009. Freya lives in the town of Orange, NSW with the ever-giving Ivy.
