About this Item
5 menus from the Stage Golfing Society Annual Dinner, running consecutively from 1964 to 1968. Each measure 21 x 29.5 cms., and consist of a single sheet of thin card, dolded to form four sides. Each has a vertical crease, and all are creased and rubbed around edges, two with stains to the front, otherwise good. They consist of: (1) 39th Annual Dinner, November 15th 1964, with cartoon by Harry Riley on front (stained); President Harry Secombe, who has signed in pencil on the back. (2) 40th Annual Dinner, November 21, 1965, with cartoon by Harry Riley on front; President Kenneth Horne. 7 signatures in ink, including Richard Murdoch and (I think) Kenneth Moore. (3) 41st Annual Dinner, November 20th, 1966, with cartoon by Roy Ulyett on front; President Ian Wallace. 7 signatures in ink and pencil, including Edward Heath, Ray Barrett, Jimmy Tarbuck (I think), Robertson Hare, etc. (4) 42nd Annual Dinner, November 19th, 1967, with cartoon by Roy Ulyett (stained) on front; 4 signatures. Plus 2nd copy, without signatures. (5) 43rd Annual Dinner, 17th November, 1968, with cartoon by Trevillion on front; President Gerald Case. No signatures. A nice collection of 6 menus (including 1 duplicate as mentioned above), although not in the best of conditiion, but with some good signatures. Seller Inventory # 008219
