Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. This is a rare surviving programme for this swimming competition by the Ravensbourne Swimming Club held at Westminster Baths Saturday September 29th 1906, The 14-page programmes lists the thirteen events for the day. The events include a display by The Royal Life Saving Society, with rescues by girls. A Display by Miss Annette Kellerman, The Australian Mermaid, and World Record Holder. A Water Polo Match with Weston-Super-Mare playing against Leicester. An Exhibition swim by Cecil Healy. The Flying Squad Championship, Etc. The programme is just under 9 inches tall, the page pagination looks like it includes the covers within the pagination, else all contents are pictured, it appears complete. Covers are noticeably marked and darkened, some marking and light creasing to contents, else in good acceptable condition. This is a lighter item, shipping costs will be reduced accordingly at checkout where possible. A RARE SURVIVAL.
