Condition: Good. 1891. No Edition Remarks. 214 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative blue cloth. Pencil inscription to half title page. Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible tanning & crushing to spine. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear.

Hardback. Condition: Good. F. Patterson (illustrator). Hardback edition, 1891, with no jacket as issued. In overall good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - illustrated red cloth boards darkened and rubbed to edges. Internally clean. Binding tight; no annotation or inscriptions - owners name faint to front pastedown dated 1896; tanning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
