Inscription reads, 'For my old friend -----/with best wishes/Philip'. Poet and artist Peter Worth was married to 'Call The Midwife' writer Jennifer Worth (1935-2011). This selection of his poems were written between 1990 and 2009. Two of his paintings are shown on the dustwrapper. Peter Worth appears as a character (played by actor Ronald Pickup) in the 2014 Christmas Special of 'Call The Midwife'.
