Pages are moderately tanned with foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with liquid staining to hinge and through rear pages. Some pages are torn at edges. Visible thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks to text block edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning and foxing to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle forward lean.

Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
