Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. Bob Giusti - DJ design (illustrator). 1st Edition. Breakfast of Champions is the best known and most influential work of Kurt Vonnegut's books. It became one of New York Time's best sellers and remained on the list for many months despite some critics not taking too kindly to the non-conventional style of the author. It was made into a film starring Bruce Willis, Nick Nolte and Albert Finney that did not fare well at the box office. The photographs detail the fine condition of the book itself and the D/W, which is protected by a clear plastic cover, has done its job well. The D/W by Bob Giusti is brightly colored, shiny and in fine condition. It is not price clipped and the price $7.95 is present at the RHS at the top of the front inside flap. The books light, red covers, are in immaculate pristine, as new condition, with KV's signature embossed in gold on the front cover. There is a very small, neat owners signature at the top corner of the first blank front end page. Internally all pages are present and correct and in fine condition with KV's keynote drawings scattered throughout.
