Loosely inserted typed signed letter from George Sims to Nancy [Bowden]written on headed notepaper from Peacocks, Hurst, Berkshire, RG10 0DR dated 15 Feb (1990?) thanking her for flattering remarks, noting how sadly under rated Galsworthy had become and offering to send some of his ABMR articles. About 100 words signed in ink 'George.' Nancy Bowden worked at Cyril Beaumont's Bookshop at 75 Charing Cross, with her sister Jill Anne. One of the ABMR articles is included 'Cyril Connolly as a Customer' a xerox with a handwritten note probably in his hand. fascinating article about Connolly's book collecting and Sims admiration of 'The Unquiet Grave.'
