The book presented here is a first edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire signed in blue pen on Wednesday 19th July 2000 at Books etc, O2 Centre, Finchley Road, London, eleven days after there book was published. For the launch of the book in July 2000, J.K. Rowling embarked on a four day Hogwarts Express Book Tour, setting off in a red steam train from Kings Cross Station, visiting Oxford (Didcot), Manchester, York, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Perth. J.K. Rowling returned a few days later for signing events at Harrods (London), Hatchards (London), Borders Books (Brighton), Ottakers (Kent) and Books etc (London) which is when the copy presented here was signed. The book and dust jacket presented here are in pristine condition. The book is unread, the binding is tight, the boards are square with sharp corners and the pages are a bright white, clean and free from any toning, creases, marks, ownership inscriptions or writing of any kind. There is no colour fading at all to the book or dust jacket. The dust jacket is unclipped, has no creases and is protected in mylar.
