First Edition Signed
First edition, first printing. Published by Bloomsbury in London, 1998. This is a very near fine copy. The dust wrapper, illustrated by Cliff Wright, is bright and clean, with some very slight wear at the corners and typical crumpling to the top and tail edges. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £10.99 price. There is a small but neat previous owners inscription to the rear of the front flyleaf, in grey ink. The full title page has ghosted to the flyleaf, as typical with this volume. The authors signature is present on the dedication page, without inscription, and in blue ink. The pictorial boards are tight at the spine and with only slight bumping to the bottom of the spine. This copy is clean internally, aside from the two aforementioned inscriptions. This is a very near fine copy, cast down from the fine grading due to very minor wear. A prime example of a scarce signed title. It is the second book in the series of seven Harry Potter books. The book was published in 1998. A film was theatrically released in November 2002.
