Dust jacket also has small dents in front panel and chips to edges. Gift inscription on front free endpaper; otherwise, a clean, tidy copy. Used - Very Good. VG hardback in VG dust jacket.

First English edition; 4to (21 x 25 cms); 443 pages; very well illustrated throughout with over 380 photos (black & white and colour) drawn from French archives, line drawings, cutaway drawings, etc.; hardback: black cloth; used, showning some signs of use, but a good copy in the dust-jacket, which is rubbed and chipped along top edge, and rubbed along bottom edge, otherwise also very good; also contained within a illustrated cardboard sleeve (rather battered and worn) which is titled "The Jaguar Collection". A thorough account of the history of Jaguar sports cars, divided into foursections: The SS Generation; The XK Generations; The E-Type Generation; The XJ Generation. Originally published in France, hence the French archived photographs.
