Das Buch wurden vom Autor, dem Graphikdesigner Roald M. Knutsen (geb. 1933), selbst illustriert und mit einem umfangreichen Glossar versehen. Knutsen erwarb verschiedene hohe Grade, u.a. in Kendo, Kenjutsu, Iai-jutsu, und ist ein Experte in japanischen Kriegstraditionen und japanischer Geschichte. - Kopfschnitt etwas stockfleckig, Bl. 105/106 mit Stauchspur u. Einriss am unteren Rand. Insgesamt gutes, sauberes Exemplar der Original-Ausgabe.
