Couverture rigide. Condition: Satisfaisant. Le Marquis de Fayolle est un roman de cape et d'épée datant de 1849, écrit par Gérard de Nerval mais resté inachevé. Le roman, d'abord paru en feuilletons entre mars et mai 1849 dans le journal Le Temps, a été terminé par Édouard Gorges un ami de Gérard de Nerval et publié pour la première fois par Michel Lévy en 1856. La Bohême galante, parue en feuilleton du 1er juillet au 15 décembre 1852. Il reprend et remanie cette première version ensuite, pour la faire paraître en un volume original, en 1853, sous le titre de Petits Châteaux de Bohême. Sans doute, par ce projet, Houssaye a-t-il voulu encourager le goût de Nerval pour le récit autobiographique, qui prendra finalement la forme de ce récit rétrospectif en prose, mêlé de poèmes en vers et d un acte dramatique en prose. Présentant ainsi un des aspects de sa vie, évoquant les fêtes, les rêves et les désillusions de la bohème artiste parisienne, Nerval insère dans son récit des sections de onze puis de sept poèmes, ainsi qu une saynète de vaudeville, réunissant des pièces écrites entre 1830 et 1852, comme autant d exemples représentatifs de son uvre poétique - notamment par leur diversité formelle et chronologique. Il fut publié pour la première fois par Michel Lévy en 1855. Il s agit dans l ouvrage que je vends de la deuxième édition de 1857.
