[12], 754. The text in the 1661 edition seems to be rare. We did not find a copy in Harvard, Princeton or Yale. Nor did world catalogue yield any result for a copy in the US. Descartes Meditations on First Philosophy, published in Latin in 1641, here in the second edition is one of the most widely studied philosophical texts of all time, and inaugurates many of the key themes that have remained central to philosophy ever since.
