    Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 8vo. 152pp + 11 B&w plates. Vellum-covered boards with faded red titles, heavily worn with discoloration from dampstains and mildew. Brilliant marbled endpapers. Preliminary facing half-title has been removed. Inscribed by the author to his god-daughter on half-title page. Frontis plate is photograph of the Prior of Troitsa, subsequent plates are line drawings by the author (all present). Binding is sound. Pages show some dampstains and foxing, but are unmarked. Printed for private circulation by Grenfell. An account in letters to his wife of a voyage to Russia with the Duke and Duchess of Connaught and other military dignitaries and their entourage for the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II, including Grenfell's secondhand account of the Khodynka Tragedy.
