The verses in this book were taken from the commentary for Edward Mitzoeff's BBC documentary, first shown in 1973, celebrating suburban life in the area to the northwest of London around the Metropolitan Railway, later the Metropolitan line of the London Underground. Oblong octavo. Illustrated with 16 lithographs by Harte. Original white cloth, pictorial label to front cover lettered in white. Housed in the original blind stamped red clamshell box.
